2025 Skate Wars

Skate Wars 2025 will take place September 5–7, 2025 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, Michigan.

SW25 will feature a tournament focused on state and collective teams—all-star rosters composed of skaters from multiple leagues who come together to represent a shared identity, whether by geography, diaspora, or another unifying theme.

All games will be played under the WFTDA rule set and in accordance with WFTDA’s Gender Policy.

Over the course of 3 action-packed days, teams will each play a minimum of 4 games across 3 tracks under one roof.

All teams will end the tournament with a definitive ranking. The format features two 12-team single-elimination brackets, each with full consolation rounds determining placements 1–12 within the group. On Sunday, teams in corresponding positions from each bracket will face off—ultimately determining final standings from #1 through #24, with the top two bracket winners battling for the championship title.
